Born
and raised in the countryside of Romulus, Michigan, Toy was hired by Ford
Motor Company to work on the assembly line one week after graduating from
high school. It was not until
a year and a half into his backbreaking duties of assembling pick-ups did
he hear a majestic voice in his head that echoed “GO WEST YOUNG MAN! ”
The next thing Toy knew, his 1973 rusted-out pinto was packed
and he was on his way to California in search of a better way of life. A consummate talent, Toy has carved out a comedy career by generating laughter often by poking fun at occupations of such groups as police officers, entertainers, lawyers and teachers. During
his act Toy enhances his slick delivery with animated body movements that
vividly interprets numerous characters ranging from dogs and cats to
people and machinery. Toy’s
success as a comedian has led him all across the nation appearing at
comedy clubs, colleges and opening for such talents as Hiroshima, Kenny
Rankin, The Drifters, and many other rock and jazz groups.
His college drama training also encouraged him to pursue an acting
career as his face began to appear on both television as well as the
silver screen. Aside
from being a comic, actor and teacher, Toy is also a writer and cartoonist
--two talents he has recently combined into three published books: "MAMA'S
BABY.... DADDY'S, MAYBE?: A Handbook For The
Alleged Father", "IT MIGHT BE TIME TO FILE THOSE DIVORCE PAPERS
WHEN .... :100 Ways To Tell If Your Marriage Is In Trouble" and
“The Ultimate Job Search Preparation Handbook. His other

CORNER", and a recently published novel, "CHANGING OF THE
GUARDS." He is currently busy working on his third novel,
